30-year touring comedian Jim Colliton chats with Joe and Jacques about coming up as a comic in Boston in the 90s and life as a touring comic today. “You do the comedy for free but get paid to travel.” And Jim travels … monthly 2 shows a day 7 days a week on cruise ships!
Joe and Jacques saw Jim at Luna Theater (inside Mill 5 in Lowell) at Greg Boggis’ Mondo Comedy. His written bits killed and his crowd work slayed! Jim talks about developing those two skills, being a dad and advice to fledging comings getting started … you know … like Jacques.
And being a insanely small world … Jim and Jacques turns out not just went to Fitchburg State at same time … but in October of 1989 were both on ice together trying out for the college hockey team!

Professor Cook joins us again and we make NO apologies for this being a god damn 2-hour chat about whether or not the Nov. 8th mid-Term elections will be the last semi-real elections we will ever have and DAMN IT I wish I was trying to be funny!
There is a chance we keep wanting Professor Cook on because it’s like we’re trying to get a free bachelor's degree in Civics. Truth be told … there is more thought that goes into these chats with the Professor then Jacques’ last 3 years at Fitchburg State … and he’s SOBER for these talks … so there is that.

Kaylee Peterson is an incredible person who is the democratic candidate for congress in Idaho. Kaylee took time out of her insanely busy campaign schedule (and mom of two schedule) to chat with Joe and Jacques. Kaylee is running for all the right reasons and we hope Idaho knows how much they need her. There are NO Plan Parenthoods in Kaylee’s district of over 500 square miles. Idaho is 51st (not a typo) 51st in education and the incumbent republican (who proudly identifies as a white Christian nationalist) is pushing for ZERO exceptions (even to save life of the mother) forced pregnancy laws. Kaylee’s opponent WILL NOT debate her. He scared how smart, well-spoken and sound Kaylee’s policies are for ALL Idahoans.

Hey, you hear the one about the Jewish guy from the Jersey shore, a son of an honest to goodness bonified WW2 hero, who was living in a Mennonites community and working at a production facility owned by the Moonies when he was (mistakenly) recruited by the KKK … Well … you’re about to. And it’s all true.
Woody has been buddies with Biff and Jacques since Bill Clinton’s first term … and Woody is hilarious but NO one can make up the stories Woody has lived … on and off the ice (Woody’s a goalie).
Woody is one of our favorite follows on the socials (as the kids say).
Woody chats all the above plus some fun hockey stories about Jacques, Bobby Hull Jr, his foray into the world of Tik Tok stardom and his 30-year battled with the scientology owned Earthlink … again … we’re not kidding.

Been a couple weeks which means Jacques went on another trip with his sons (this one to Six Flags in NJ and Maryland and lunch in DC with work pals from Armed Forces Ent) and management went to another European city to see Duran Duran (London this time) … two weeks means more Jan 6thhearings and wholly shit are we all Fcked!!
Hey … at least Steven Bannon is gonna be wearing a jumpsuit pretty soon.
Joe joined the podcast and while he doesn’t officially do a “self-indulgent theater” he sort of does and it’s brilliant.
Biff breaks down more crime clip from Japan … gosh what I wouldn’t give for those to be lead stories on US news!
Talk a little TV and some parenting tips and … a lot of giggling. Not really … listen for a grown man giggling.
