After a couple years off (thanks Covid) Biff, Jacques and the FNH crew comprising the John Taylor Fertilizers Hockey Franchise Club LLC Inc returned to the annual Memorial Day Phoenix tournament. And the one on-ice highlights has to be Jacques 2nd assist on the ONE goal the team (AST) scored last in game 3. Off the ice … the highlights were pretty endless. Jacques enjoyed the drive with Biff from LA and rooming with John… unknown if Biff and John feels the same.
Jacques’ week in LA including visits with former podcast guest Ronak and Renatezky as well as MANY visits to In & Out and Universal Studios!
Another week in the US means another mass shooting and looks like Jacques might have Biff convinced the GOP is a terrorist organization.

After a couple weeks off, Biff Joe and Jacques are back. After 30 years off … so are the Kids In The Hall. And their still Gods. Season 6 is streaming now on Amazon Prime as is “Comedy Punks”, a 2-part gloves are off and tissue boxes are on documentary with and about the KITH.
Seems a dying and in Covid lock down Norm MacDonald left us all a going away present in form of a new special that will start airing in a few weeks … and now - two-part George Carlin documentary is on HMO Max!
Lots of great comedy to distract us for few hours from the nightmare the GOP Crime Syndicate is holding us hostage in … same week cheering the forthcoming SCOTUS over turning Row Vs … and simultaneously voting AGAINST the emergency to help get baby formula back to the store shelfs asap! Clarence Thomas Wife tripling down on trying to overthrow the country (no, really, she is) and another horrible mass shooting in Buffalo by a proud white supremacist who targeted a supermarket in a predominantly black neighborhood.
Biff chats the 5 NHL games 7s played in a 30-hour span and crime in Japan.
Biff, Jacques and the FNH … John Taylor Fertilizer Hockey Franchise is off to Phoenix next week to play (for the first time in 3 years) their usual annual hockey tournament… they’re hoping to play well but NOT have to play in finals to be able to get out of AZ a day early. Priorities.

We start of on a real somber not as Jacques chats the passing of college buddy/occasional band mate/amazing song writer/musician and one of the nicest guys you could ever meet, David Mirabella (front man and lead guitarist of The Rationales.) Dave was guest way back on CP (Ep. 7). You’re missed and loved Dave. May the force be with you brother.
Biff chats his Batman like crime fighting skills as at 4am he chased off some thieves trying to saw off and steal car parts from his neighbor’s car!

Joe and Jacques have ANOTHER bitter-sweet chat about yet ANOTHER comic they LOVE who BAMB … GONE.
The GREAT (now late) Gilbert Gottfried past last week and we’re gutted. From Joe and Jacques’ early (maybe 1994) collaboration … Joe did a Gilbert impression that Jacques LOVES (Joe down plays it but it’s pretty great) and some of the best CP Self-Indulgent Theaters involved Joe’s Gilbert!
Joe from day one was a fan of Gilbert’s podcast … which serious was always good but sometimes depending on the guest … GREAT GREAT GREAT.
We HIGHLY suggest you fall down a Gilbert YouTube rabbit hole … gotta see the YOU FOOL – Hollywood Square clip, spend an hour watching Gilbert on Howard Stern and totally check out the 2017 documentary Gilbert.
It’s been a rough time losing so many great comics … this one really hit close to home.

Where Putin’s calendar reads 1936 we asked Political Science professor from the University Of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, Doctor Chris Cook to come on and help try to make sense of a world that refuses to make any sense. Dr. Cook and Jacques cross paths years before in college … which Jacques has apologized for which Dr. Cook graciously accepted.
This is a supersized sideshow that has us wanting to see if we can zoom in to Professor Cooks classes the rest of this semester. He’s wicket smaht dude.
We’re hoping someone in the Biden administration listens to this episode and brings Professor Cook on board … we don’t know if any of that stuff in Ukraine can be fixed … but we’re sure he can help!
