Jacques and Joe look back (and ahead!) at the many wonderful roles of Fred Willard. From “Fernwood 2 Night” to “Spinal Tap” to “Best in Show” to his appearances on late-night shows like Letterman and Kimmel, Fred was a masterful comedic improviser that would have stolen every scene he appeared in if he hadn’t earned every second of screen time. Whether his co-stars were Martin Mull, the Christopher Guest crew, political puppets or even Pixar characters, Fred made all of them shine brighter by his presence. So here’s two idiots gushing over him.
